However You Sit on It, It Fits

Mirra does what you need a task chair to do, does it beautifully, does it easily, and is very affordable. No wonder it's won a slew of awards!

You get support and flexibility from the one-piece backrest, which is elastic so that it accommodates individual sizes, sitting positions, and the movements you make while you sit. The PostureFit feature keeps your lower back properly aligned. And the AireWeave suspension seat distributes your body pressure evenly and keeps you cool.

The AireWeave suspension seat distributes your body pressure evenly and keeps you cool. And it adjusts itself as soon as you sit. Answer:
We now offer all models of the Mirra Chair on the Herman Miller Store with or without the adjustable back support. The adjustable lumbar support is designed to fill the curve in your back while in the recline position and will also support the small of your back while in the upright position. It allows you to adjust both height and depth to fit your body. If you would like to order the chair without the adjustable support, you can select that option in the Back Support section when configuring your chair.

The Mirra Chair is designed to fit all sizes, and the standard chair height ranges from 16 - 20.5 inches. Mirra's FlexFront seat edge allows you to adjust the seat depth to fit your height using a simple lever on the front side of your seat.

Mirra's TriFlex backrest conforms to individual sizes, postures and movements for complete body support. Mirra is rated up to 300lbs.

Latitude back cover?

Where is the option for the latitude back covers? The midnight blue might be cool, but I can't find the option nor any good pictures of it on the chair. Thank you.

I have an Aeron in my office that I bought years ago and I'm not sure which casters it has. Now I'm considering getting a Mirra for my home office, where there's fairly thick carpet. What kind of casters can I get that will not mark/damage the carpet?

Answer:
The Mirra Chair has two different caster options available and both are suitable for carpet. You can choose to order your Mirra with the 'Carpet Casters' option or with 'Hard Floor or Carpet Casters.' Either option will work well on carpet, and the second option will give you flexibility to use your chair on both hard surfaces and carpet.

Mirra Chair 5 5 3 3
i love my mirra! i love this chair! i've been doing a lot of freelance work at home, and after too many weeks of 15 hour days on my folding chair, my back and neck started to grumble. so i bought one of these bad boys, and i can't even tell you how grateful i am for the design masters at herman miller. this thing is a work of art. when you first sit in it, it might just feel like an ordinary good chair, comfortable but a bit one size fits all, but then you can completely adjust it to form to your body. like the lumbar support, you can slide it up and down and adjust the pressure so it fits your lower back just perfectly. i love it. and the tilt resistance and tilt lock, both are super nice. the only thing i was a little apprehensive about was the chair's appearance. i thought it was a little sci-fi - futuristic for my taste, but seeing it in the apartment doesn't really give me that vibe anymore. five stars for sure! Very comfortable and well designed. Very nice chair. I made sure to sit in one before I made my purchase and I was not disappointed. I opted for the upgraded hardwood floor casters and I'm glad I did! They are whisper quiet. It's interesting to note that there is actually a piece of foam under the front of the mesh seat. I think it's there to offer some extra support where your legs compress on the front-edge of the seat. I'm hoping that will hold up well long-term. I opted for the "Graphite" finish and it's much lighter in person than on the website. I'm still happy with it, but it's worth noting. The chair arrived in good condition, but the packaging was a little ineffective. The chair arrived with two casters removed and rolling around loose in the box. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. As a result, one corner of the base was rubbing against the bottom of the box. It didn't seem to cause any lasting cosmetic damage though. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the purchase. Although I would probably opt for the tilt-limiter if I decided to do it over again. I'm quite happy to have not purchased the adjustable arm rests though. June 6, 2012
great office chair A perfect office chair for the home office. Comfortable for both of us to use and easy to adjust. Loved these office chairs in the Hilton properties and just had to have one of my own. April 15, 2012
