Available in three sizes, the Aeron’s human-centered design was made with a diverse range of body types in mind. The Aeron Chair’s sizes are, from smallest to largest, size A, size B, and size C. Aeron Chair Size A
The Herman Miller Aeron Chair size A is 38.5” tall, 26” wide, and 16” deep, best suited to smaller bodies that are between 4’8” and 5’9” tall, weighing between 90 and 160 lbs; however, the Aeron A-size has a total weight capacity of 300 lbs.
Aeron Chair Size B
The Herman Miller Aeron size B has the most inclusive size range; at 41” tall, 27” wide, and 16.75” deep, the Aeron Chair size B can accommodate bodies that are under 5’ to nearly 7’ tall, weighing anywhere from just over 100 lbs to its maximum of 350 lbs.
Aeron Chair Size C
With a larger silhouette that is 43” tall, 28.25” wide, and 18.5” deep, the Herman Miller Aeron size C is most appropriate for taller users at the higher end of the weight range. Like the Aeron Chair size B, the Aeron Chair size C has a weight capacity of 350 lbs.
Aeron Chair Parts
The Remastered Aeron Chair is available with many adjustability features built-in; however, you can also separately purchase office chair lumbar support parts designed specifically for the Classic Aeron (manufactured before October 2016) and office chair wheels and office chair armpads suitable for the Remastered and Classic Aeron Chairs. Office chair armpads to refresh the Classic Aeron are available in vinyl and leather. Both basic lumbar support and PostureFit support components are available for the Classic Aeron to ensure a similar level of back support as the Remastered Aeron.
