The complete guide to Aeron Chair
The chair that revolutionized office seating, Aeron is engineered with state-of-the-art adjustability and support. Today, it remains the gold standard for ergonomics, thanks to updated research, material innovation, and an iconic design that lasts.
Materials make the difference
Sustainable from the start
Aeron is composed of more than 50% recycled material—and in 2021, we added ocean-bound plastic to the chair.
Pioneering comfort
At the core of Aeron's design is 8Z Pellicle, an innovative material made for cooling comfort.
In the zone
With eight precisely targeted zones, 8Z Pellicle supports a balanced posture from top to bottom, and front to back.
Fresh inspiration
Air, body heat, and water vapor circulate through 8Z Pellicle's breathable material.

Which Aeron is right for you?
Choose your base and frame color
With a meticulously curated palette, Aeron is available in ten pre-configured colorways, including Nightfall and Jasper.
Choose your size
There’s an Aeron suited to nearly everyone, from the first to the 99th percentile. Its three sizes—A, B, and C—were precisely designed to welcome a wide range of body types.
Choose your support
Maintain your optimal posture by staying strong while you sit. Choose from four different types of back support: Basic Back Support, Adjustable Lumbar Support, PostureFit, or Adjustable Posture Fit SL.
Choose your tilt
Aeron offers support from a variety of positions. Choose from Basic Tilt or a Tilt Limiter with Seat Angle to move from a full recline to slightly forward angle.
Choose your arm style
Aeron supports three styles of arms: Stationary, at three fixed heights; Height-Adjustable, for vertical adjustment; or Fully-Adjustable, for vertical adjustment, as well as backward, forward, inward, and outward.
Choose your arm color
Available in standard polyurethane foam or leather, your arm color is automatically determined by the frame you choose: Black, Graphite, Mineral, Nightfall, or Jasper.
Choose your casters
Made for use on low-to-medium pile carpets, the Carpet Caster has wheels of durable black nylon. The Multi-Surface Caster with Quiet Roll is designed for hard surfaces and carpeted floors. Plus, its soft tread gives the chair better traction and reduces noise on hard surfaces.
