An early version of the Scissor Chair appeared in 1964, and by 1968 Ward Bennett had refined the design to its present form. The chair is available with a welded tubular metal or wood frame—both available in numerous finishes. The plush Dacron cushioning can be covered with virtually any leather or fabric.
