Designed to encourage healthy movement, the Nelson Swag Leg Armchair (1958) was ahead of its time. A large opening between its seat and back shells allows air to circulate, keeping the individual cool, while the ample armrests support proper posture. The chair's distinctive shells, originally made from fiberglass-reinforced plastic, now are molded from a more earth-friendly recyclable polypropylene. This is the authentic Nelson Swag Chair by Herman Miller.
