    Versatile Storage Solutions

    In 1946, George Nelson designed a series of modular storage units that coordinate in size, shape, and design. Available with legs, the large cabinets can be used in a variety of ways.

    These cabinets stand on their own, singly or in groups. Used with other cabinets in the series and with the Platform Bench, they can be positioned against a wall to create a built-in look or set up as a room divider that provides both seating and storage.

      Two Large Cabinets

      The Basic Cabinet Series includes a five-drawer cabinet with a door and a two-drawer, two-door cabinet. Both have 5 ½-inch black wood legs. Each cabinet is 40 inches wide, 34 inches high, and 18 ½ inches deep.

    • Finish Options

      Finish Options

      Cabinets are available in two finish options—light brown walnut or natural oak. Drawer and door pulls are custom aluminum alloy.

    The Nelson Basic Cabinet Series Large Cabinet is 34 inches tall from the top of the cabinet to the top of the legs. From the floor to the top of the cabinet, the height is 39.5 inches.

    If we were interested in purchasing 2 of the Cabinets (5 drawers + 1 large cabinet), is it possible to have 1 of them with the drawers & cabinet flipped around? (i.e. the drawers on the right-hand side, while the cabinet is on the left side)

    At this time we are only offering the five drawer cabinet with a right side door for the Nelson Basic Cabinet Series Large Cabinet. We also offer an option for two drawers over two doors, but do not offer the 5 drawer option with a left side door.

    The Nelson Basic Cabinet ships fully assembled and the interior shelves are not adjustable.
