      Practicality

Storage units are 16 inches deep and are available in two widths and three heights. Perfectly complementary to the Eames Desk Unit, the storage units feature cases, cabinets, and drawers in five configurations for a wide range of storage options.

The neutral color scheme uses birch veneer with white and black accents to create a sleek, high-tech look. The bright color scheme uses red, blue, black, and white hardboard panels and surfaces to create a design that is reminiscent of a Mondrian painting.

The steel cross-supports and uprights give the units an industrial feel, and the dimpled plywood on cabinet fronts and plywood drawer fronts and shelves reinforces the mid-century modern appearance.

    • Strength

      Strength

The materials don’t just make the aesthetic, they make these storage units durable and strong. Uprights, cross-supports, and perforated panels are made of zinc-coated steel. Drawer fronts and shelves are smooth plywood, while the plywood cabinet fronts are molded to form round dimples. Side panels are painted hardboard, and the nylon foot glides are easy on hard floors.
