Girard Hexagonal Table

Designer: Alexander Girard
Alexander Girard offers his ode to the geometry of the hexagon—a shape he experimented with in multiple mediums—with the sculptural Hexagonal Table. Originally part of the Girard Group, the designer’s only furniture line for Herman Miller, the small and exquisite design is a cheerful side table or accent piece in settings both at home and at work.

Girard Hexagonal Table

An Efficient Design with Charm

First seen in Alexander Girard’s work for Braniff International Airways, the Hexagonal Table is one of the first archival reissues of his furniture designs. Set atop four splayed legs, the table surprises and delights: 216 inscribed triangles create a reflective, jewel-like pattern across its polished aluminum top. Its material makes it lightweight and easy to move; its compact size makes it an exquisite accent table or extra surface.
