Chair_One Stacking, Set of 2

Designer: Konstantin Grcic
Designer Konstantin Grcic wanted Chair_One to be more open space than solid, so he modeled it on a soccer ball—a collection of small, flat planes assembled at angles to create a three-dimensional form. His goal was to combine comfort with structure. Sold in sets of 2.

Chair One

Does It Look Comfortable? It is!

Does this chair look comfortable? It is. It’s also a piece of sculpture. Modeled from die-cast aluminum and constructed like a soccer ball, Chair_One was envisioned as more void than solid. Designer Konstantin Grcic wanted to use the least material to create the most product.

"People were really kind of stunned. They didn’t believe it was a chair one could actually sit on."

Answer:
If you flip the chair over and look at the underside of the seat, you should see a Magis stamp. All of our Magis products have this stamp, which marks the chair as an authentic Magis design.
